A movie based on the biggest selling Chicano novel of all time, which means that if anyone goes to this movie it will be primarily Latinos.Bless Me Ultima is set in New Mexico during WWII, and tells the story of the relationship between a young man and an elderly medicine woman who helps him contend with the battle between good and evil that rages in his village.
Who cares that this is a movie by Carl Franklin? Nobody even knows who he is, unless they are really Wild About Movies, and even then it would be a stretch.
